and yes, I've played risk, and this is going to be like a super advanced version of risk, with missions and consequences and things, should be a very cool flash engine

A grand RTS is essentially the opposite of games like Rise of Nations. Mostly you focus on the big picture, rather than going in and directing individual soldiers to do things. Grand RTS games focus more on economy and infrastructure than military stuff.

well, according to your description, this will be some of both. you'll be concerned for the bigger picture, but you will also be fighting in the trenches, having dogfights in the air, fighitng u-boats in the sea etc

still. get it out of the dark. hello we invented powered flight. in 1902 its just the Americans are selfish and claim that they did it. although it was a year later than us.

i have no idea, that won't be determined until i get far enough in the game to put in easter eggs, for the moment, i'm just concerned with the basic structure of the game

There's a good one. The Mediterranean seemingly disappeared, and it was pretty important during WWII.

don't forget the baltic sea, the dead sea, the black sea... you basically forgot every single sea surrounded by land at more than three sides.

well, the lines on the orginal map were confusing, they weren't colour coded, so i just did large mask chunks, i guess i'll have to cross reference with another map

no, both campaign and conquest, excpet there'll be several campaigns depending on which you choose to be, pilot, navy or infantry

so each country that's playable will be on the map, and you select the country and you get to go into more menu screens! why i posted this i don't know, as this is pretty much a waste of a double post!

Are youi putting Spain or Portugal into the game> Because Spain was 'neutral', remember?

i don't know what countries you'll actually play in. something like spain might have a stats writeup, with a brief history, or maybe spain could be used in freeing a POW camp, and using spain to stay there, i don;t know. right now, i plan to finsih drawing the map, and start doing up some planes
