Ok, so we're trying a new chatbox. Temporarily it is at the top of the forum because i need photoshop to make a button for it, and i have to wait until monday to do that so please do not ask me why it's at the top, if you do, i ban you for a day due to your stupidity.

Ok, so, reasons for trying this is the old one lagged horribly, and it was just a glitch fest in my opinion. This one's a little more stylish, but it doesn't support BBCode, but that's all right, cause it's a chat, and on average, we do more chatting than posting pics. So some rules, use your forum name or include your forum name in it somewhere, if you do not, i will ban you from the chatbox, no exceptions

Now this is a poll, and we're testing this. If you choose no in the poll, you have to describe in full why, otherwise your opinion won't be considered in the final decision.

you click sign on in the chat, and then click on the funny name and change it to JPb

I like the new chatbox. I don't care what anyone of you who are opposed of it think. I like it.

This one doesnt have the clean and organized feeling to it, it's too messy and too small. The other one might have been a bit laggy at times but except that it was great.

Yeah, but it LAGGED... This one hasn't lagged yet. I would say something on that chat and it wouldn't show up for 5 minutes, and sometimes it wouldn't let you say something and you would have to retype it.

The chat screen is too small. With the old chat, the writing is smaller and it is in a separate browser page.

1. too small. 2. there have been terrible glitches with xatchat in the past where it deleted all old posts and made it like it went back in time... i think it got fixed but i still like the old one better.

anyways it ain't too shabby. And the old chat is HORRIBLE! or i think it is because i didn't get to use it all the time and it always is disconnecting.
but i don't know which is better since i think i didn't really go to the chat.

anyways how do you edit your name? because i've seen that chat box before and I made my name: Alpheron

actually, no. just click "new user" and you can switch back and forth between names if you want one to stay permanately.

i had thought that, but i'd have no idea where to start. i did find a tut on flash kit though, so maybe if i can scrounge together some time...

well, to create a basic one, no. to create one with user logins and modding and possibly bbcode, it just ain't happenin, at least not on google. there's too many build your own free chatbox here sites
