thanks. i kind of wish there was a background on the forum behind the ranks, as the ranks are semi transparent, and look cool over something other than a solid colour

no unfortunately. it only accepts hex values for colours, thus I'm not able to control transparencies. the only way I possibly could, would be to make a REALLY large semi-transparent colour block png, and upload it, but then it would slow down your processor, and may not fit on all screens. and it would look really ugly for poor old shemuel

wait, that's not true. you can use a image for post background, right? then it's very simple.

create a 1x1 pixel image and use the normal sizes, thus stretching the img.
