Re: Do it youself
I would list what I added, but that would be borderline spam, considering I added at least half the metal on the playlist...

Re: Do it youself
Ok, I added:
La Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong to the Jazz playlist.
And I added "Like Spinning Plates", and "I Will" by Radiohead to the general list.
I also, chipped in Unforgiven 3, by Metallica.

Re: Do it youself
Sorry if this too old a topic to post to, but it seems like this is kind of a standard, pinned important one so I would guess not...
Anyway, I'm really digging the Jazz playlist. Who's the big jazz fan who added all the Benny Goodman? Or was it a lot of people? It's great stuff. I'd like to add a few things to the main playlist, some Stones, Who, Sugarloaf, CSNY maybe other stuff of that era.. but I can't figure out how. I'm probably missing something really obvious...

Well, then go ahead and add away!
Oh, and it was DW that added all of the benny.
But, I'm a big fan of him also.

Re: Do it youself
I will! ... but as I said I'm at a loss as to how... I need a url to an mp3 file?
I like Benny Goodman too. I'm glad all the young'uns haven't forgotten about him. Sometimes I feel like on the inside I'm from the 50s.

I'm an 80s person at heart. I spammed up all the playlists with 80s metal =P

Re: Do it youself
I don't think you can upload your own music to a playlist. I think you can only add stuff found when searching playlist.com

Playlist.com wrote:How do I upload music?
You cannot upload music files to Playlist.com.
You can however input URLs linking to music files that you own the copyright for or legally have the rights to distribute; we do keep a large database of such song links.
To get a URL for a music file that you own the copyright in or legally have the rights to distribute, find a website that hosts or stores files. Once you have posted the file there, the file should be assigned a URL that you can then enter into the Playlist.com expanded search page located at:

Re: Do it youself
Yeah...
I just uploaded my music onto my webs.com account, and then linked it to playlist.

Re: Do it youself
So you don't need to prove you have the right to distribute it?
