Raffitz wasn't a mod. Heck, I went on a cool-down from this forum for two days, and came back to find he had been a mod and gone!

yep. he became mod, DJ said JAY, raffitz made a joke in flashtrek that he would delete DJ's posts if he dared to criticize him, DJ posted something (apparently) angry, and raffitz was gone. took only a few hours.

I'm only a starter (the best thing that I made was making a ball bounce on the limits of the screen (in javascript+flash). Then I started making mods for NEXUS (not the atlantis mod, because the guys who made the meshes don't let me use them). I can make a mission without many things, like: The ships..., the enviroment..., the solar system,... and the nav points!

(Yes, I know about the diferences of the languages, and the part that the "medium portuguese" sucks [Always over the speed limit, it's soccermaniac, can start a fight because of soccer, does not respect the pions and I don't want to tell you other things], but it is sunny, it has good beaches, and good sightings...)

well, winter only lasts about three to four months. it's not constant blizzards. in my 18 years of existence, i've only experienced about 3 blizzards i would say. if anything, it gets really hot up here. our summers usually get to about 40 degrees C.

because of NLs sea climat, the temperature almost never gets outside of 0 C and 35 C, but in france and spain, i've had 45 C -50 C.

at those temperatures you can put a can of soda outside in the sun, and boil it.
