And your point? The US owns about a third of the entire world economy, and we could simply crash the world by imposing embargos on Europe and Canada. Canada's military is a joke and the US is too large to be easily conquered.

True, I watched it on a new episode of the history channel.

The Raptor is the most advanced fighter aircraft known to mankind. Everyone's just waiting for the Russians to show off their newest fighter, which is supposed to be up to the Raptor's standards.

Well, realistically, we would most certainly not survive against a war with all other nations. But that's the thing; how are you going to make all nations join in war against America? If the UN (incompetence) is anything to go by, anything unanimous by global standards should be nigh impossible.

the only 2 times in history really, are world war 2, and the cold war, and even then, it wasn't everybody against one nation. nobody really wants the us bad enough for everybody else in the world to launch a pre-emptive strike. and like you said, the us holds a lot of the world's keys, if anybody knocks them down, a good portion of the world would collapse due to economic disparity. looks how it would affect someplace like here in canada. we are a sort of big country, yet we really rely on the americans for trade and support

I agree. The world runs on the United States. If it was eliminated, it would take a while for the world to recuperate. But, you still have to agree that the U.S is not as powerful as it was 10 years ago. Just look at how the American economy is being sold off. It's getting so bad that now the government is having to put a lot of money into the stock market just to keep it going!

Y'know, just because our economy's in the toilet now, it doesn't mean that Europe's economy isn't as well. Products and gas are insanely expensive, even with such strong currency (I think it's 1.42 Euros to $1, but I'm not sure.) Not to mention that liberalism will only promote the growth of government which will lead to lobbyists and background players holding actual power rather than the people actually installed into office. Though, that's not to say that it isn't this way already...
