I don't know that you'd need to add a whole category for every series. Are you going to put up a category for Babylon 5? Firefly? Space: Above and Beyond? Then you could get into movies and such . . .
Those could just stay threads in the General column unless the thread gets a large amount of traffic.

Putting Red Dwarf down?!? I said it was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. Back when I was in college we had a whole gang who would gather in my dorm lounge to spend Sunday night with Red Dwarf and Doctor Who on PBS. I ended up marrying one of the girls who was a regular there. . .

I wasn't putting down Red Dwarf at all, I was just commenting that we could end up with an unwieldy number of categories if we start giving separate areas to every sci-fi series or movie out there.
