That was getting bizarre by the minute it passed... a Section 31 ship asking us to be in their side... it is truly bizarre... But again, he had another flash memory of the past... There was she, with an very high definition camera of 8 Gigapixels... Now surpassed by the 12 gigapixels camera's... But at that time, it was the best camera's ever... She was taking him a picture in it's 15th birthday... She wasn't like another love of his life, Márcia... who he stopped liking due to an extreme ease in changing boyfriends... And started liking the other one... She was indeed more beautiful than Marcia, but it seemed to made Madre Teresa look like an hooker... That was weird... Inês... remembered finally her name... Mallor arrived the bridge... And the captain shoke his hand and wished him good luck before going to the transporters...

"You idiot, when you are serving on a ship you're expected to know the ship and it's terminology! Now how hard is it to tap that darn button on your console?"
"Yes sir... And what are coordinates? Sir?"

Mallor sat down on the chair and thought. He knew that the belt wasn't the cause, it was only triggering it. They were running out fast now. He still had a decent store of it, but he lost half of it in the destruction of the first Darkwing, and now he was running out even faster because he was using for two now. When Terra was in sickbay he had an excellent chance to inspect her quarters extensively, and more exactly her personal belonging. She ran out of her supply a long time ago. He was now carefully paying attention that she got a part of his supply every day unnoticed. He didn't want her to notice the difference. Her supplies were different in the aspect that they contained an extra component which made sure she would stay fit for her true purpose. And that one component was exactly the one he couldn't reproduce. The consequences for his long lack of supplies was only his permanent lack of sleep, which recently seemed to change, but for her it could be much worse, possibly horribly ending their mission. That would a fatal disaster for Vixeria. He HAD to get back. there was no other choice.

"Ensign, i'll enter them myself. Nobody may know the destination."
"But... what? why?"
"Do as you're told. Now."

"Sir, Rivers has been completely transported now. But they trapped us in a net of tachyon particles, we'll never get out unnoticed!"
"Nevermind. GO!!!"

The Darkwing suddenly disappeared right in the face of section 31 and slipped past the tachyon net at warp speed as if the ship were not there. For a while they saw the other ship send probes to find them with their tachyon emissions until their scanner range was insufficient.

I entered my room, and said to the computer:
"Computer, lock room... Authorization 25-João-1994"
"Authorization acknowledged... Security chief status... Room locked to any other entities..." Said the Computer...
I opened my console and opened my message console... There was there a message with three items: Rivers full name and its password... And something inside the main computer... more one console, this one, with access to the entire database...
"That's why I also needed his name..." Said I... "Better get to work..." And I exited the room, heading for the main computer room, an place only accessed by an hidden ventilation shaft...

Mallor was sunken in his thought when a beeping alarm brought him back to the land of the living.
"What the... what is happening?"
He looked at the screen and saw the internal scanners alert that somebody was trying to break into the main computer room. Identification: Security Chief Borrego.
"Fu...! alarm, internal code red."
The internal security systems activated, and the ship was instantly divided into hermetically closed compartments. The security shell around the ship's most important inner systems and chambers became active: one meter thick armored doors closed and in the empty space between the inner shell and the outer ship a shield field materialized. The computer room was completely shut off the rest of the ship.

"Okay, it seems we had a mole inside our midst all the time. I want the most trustworthy people right here, right now."

Mallor closed the airlocks too late... Borrego was inside the main computer room and isolated the controls of other terminals... Now, he was ready to make the mission that Rivers had put in him... To know what were those wolf guys preparing... He knew since Terra's reveal that we needed to have an constant overview about activities like that... and now being on a ship with Vixerian design would not help it much... The tactical team was all up to date, in case they needed to take control of the ship... Rivers gave Mallor the temporary command of the ship has a test of trust, due to the reference by the Section 31 captain...
"Guys, how are you..." Asked I
"Things aren't going so good... He isolated most of the sections..." Replied a lieutenent...
"Things are going accordingly..." Thought Borrego "I think we can trust Mallor after all... Now, let's delete all scanner limitations..."
And the Scanner rebooted, showing all new information... We had intruders in the ship...

Mallor cursed. he was trying to break into the computer! well, he was breaking into HIS territory now.
"Get out of my way. NOW."
A slowly acting ensign got effortlessly wiped to the side by mallor and fell to the floor with blood seeping from the edge of his mouth.
"Die, you dork... Get out of my dang computer!"
Mallor muttered like an enchantment as his fingers raged over the console like a hurricane
"Construction safety override in 3... 2... 1..."
Mallor smiled as the scanners showed the result: Borrego slamming his hands helplessly against the main computer console when it turned blank. He activated another system, and suddenly a brightly glowing force field enveloped the whole computer. He laughed when he saw Borrego pull his hand back as if he had just touched an overpowered electric cattle fence.

"Kalliandra, would you care to join me in the transporter room? I'd like to hear his excuse before i kill him to prevent any further... situations."

(ehm... ooops. we've advanced quite a bit since the last time you posted... i could advice reading back a bit.)
(anyway... basically, Rivers is having a little private chat with section 31 again, away from the ship, and has appointed Mallor as acting captain this time. Mallor, naturally suspicious -which is a lot, considering his past experiences- of section 31, got out of there cloaked -beyond tachyon detection- and headed course for Vixeria -Which the crew does not know- at top speed -presumably a lot faster than even Vixerian tech- because he needed -medic- supplies for him and terra.)

(and oh yeah, the only ones who know about terra being alive are currently on the darkwing.)

(second oh yeah, there's this little issue with our friendly portuguese friend here who just tried to hack the ship computer.)

The team started running to the bridge while Borrego was trying to get out of the forcefield...

Aeris is Terra's mother and has a tracker on her. She can follow the Darkwing ANYWHERE.

Mallor looked around.
"Darn, where is that foxy girl again now? hmmpf. i guess i'll do it myself."
Mallor tapped a bit away at the console again and grasped his gun.
"Transport in 3... 2... 1..."
The familiar whirl of the transportation device surrounded him and less than a second later he was holding his gun against Borrego's temple while holding him by his neck with his other hand.
"I'd like to hear your excuse before i decide to dispose of you... You've been causing a lot of trouble for this ship, it's crew and it's captain lately... You're becoming a nuisance. A dangerously betraying nuisance to be more exact. what are you trying to do? It's pretty much suicide trying to grasp control of a ship that i know more of than it's very dang captain, or it's head of engineering, for that matter. I highly recommend pissing yourself, followed by a course of praying to your impotent prime directive, before you think up a lousy coherent excuse for an answer."

Kaliandra looked around. Aeris had shown up, and she needed to get Terra of this ship. She found Terra in her room and grabbed her.

"We are getting out of here" Kaliandra said as they were beamed aboard Terra's Shadow.

Kaliandra pulled out her PADD and activated the security drones on the Darkwing Mark II.

"That should keep them busy. Aeris, we need to get out of here and save Rivers. He may be in danger."

Aeris: Set course for that Sec 31 ship we came across. We need to get there ASAP.

Terra's Shadow jumps into slipspace heading towards Rivers locaton.

Mallor didn't let his attention waver from Borrego for a single moment while he simply vanquished Borrego's elite guard's heads as if his gun was a 'delete' key on a computer.
"I don't know how the hell you managed to get your personal comm device reach beyond this room, but it's useless. I put a complete transport block on this room with a delay before i beamed over here, and it should be effective in three seconds... Which gives me just enough time to beam me out of here and shut down life support. The time of your death may or may not depend on your willingness to get reasonable and hear some logic. Good. Bye."

The typical swirl of the transporter engulfed him. When he appeared on the bridge again two ensigns scared to death were cowering in a corner, staring at two incompletely transported members of Borrego's team who had tried to transport to go after him just after he finished transporting, were crawling about on the floor, covering the whole bridge in blood. he knelt down by the two, muttered something and put them out of their misery by two simple neck shots. He got up again to see an alert on the screen that the construction security override had just blocked an attempt to activate the ship's security drones. Another work of Borrego and his associates? Oh it could wait. They weren't of any great immediate threat right now. He should try to remember though not to sleep for the coming time until Rivers got back.

"Clean this mess up, will you? I've got some issues to attend to now."

He really needed to talk to Terra now. He had to keep her well, and it wasn't going very well at the current rate. He walked to her room and opened the doors. He looked around and uttered one single word, an outcry consisting of only one syllable, that would have been heard throughout the ship if it weren't for the very barriers which he had activated himself. He activated the transporter once again and reappeared on the bridge.
"Sir, there's a weird trail of space anomalies which just passed by our ship, stopped for a single moment and then went on to another location! but it could only be caused by the highly hypothetical slip stream drive!"
"I KNOW. It is, for federation tech. But this is not a federation tech ship. buckleup and prepare for a rough ride."

Mallor sat down on the captain's chair for the first time. His face was a blank sheet, but his eyes seemed to flicker like a burning flame, his eyecolors kept changing into every possible color and his very appearance seemed to waver as the camouflage belt struggled to keep up with his tormented mind. A tear welled out of his eyes and slowly passed over his cheek bone. He could not fail. Not again. She would die! He knew she wouldn't be able to handle much more without it, and he wondered how loong it would last.

He activated the console. Still in construction security override, he pushed the ship to the max, and over it. He struggled to keep the ship on the trail as it's course started to grow slightly unstable, bit he was gaining in on them, slowly.

(OMG... this took me more than half an hour. I'd appreciate it if people would also read it and not go off on another random distracting plot.)

"Well... he forgot one thing..." Borrego got it's padd and openned a document... there were exact instructions of what to do... the origin was captain Rivers padd... Under that was an hyperlink that conducted to another document "What if something went wrong..." He oppened the link, also sent by Rivers padd... "Hmmm, interesting..." He run to an wall and screamt...
"Commander João Borrego, code red 05 - alpha 7" and a small console appeared...
"That guy forgot that only two people have free access to this area... Me and Rivers... If I didn't brought the rest of the team, I would be capable of doing this..." Borrego start messing with the console... "Ok... first reestabilishing life support in this room..." And the fresh air started appearing from the ventilations...
"Hmm... fresh air..." Said I "Now it's time to stop Mallor from doing whatever he is going to do... And return to get Rivers from that Section 31 ship"

(Hmmm, do you imagine me reading MNIM's post and trying to synchronize with mine? That's pretty exhausting... Hope you like my actions MNIM...)

Mallor was too busy trying to keep the ship on course to notice the alert that the override had blocked another action from inside the computer room. They were now getting within communication's reach, but it would be useless as long as they were going this fast. as long as they didn't notice that they were being followed and didn't stop to check it out, he would have to keep this up. He felt slightly embarrassed and annoyed at the fact that he still had to watch after Terra like the little cub she once was.

Robert: Launch probes, but don't bother catching up, we'll not find her, not now

well, seeing as we haven't had any new exciting plot elements occur, i'll keep going!

*Rivers stood, watching out the porthole, pondering the proposition. It was definitely an interesting one, and could prove to be very wealthy for Rivers in the long run. But Rivers then caught himself, and reminded himself, that the whole thing was based on black mail. Just black mail to who? Who out there could Robert blackmail Rivers with? The rebellion, of course, he would be hated among them, hated for being a mass slaughterer, somebody who killed a lot of people that night. All in the name of freedom, all the good that had done him. He had been caught, tortured, such that he lost his memory. But that was well over a hundred years ago. Rivers shook himself from thought, and reached into a pocket for his secret transmitter*

Borrego, come in Borrego

*There was static, and Borrego didn't respond. He had left some of the access codes, in case Mallor had gone wild, and in case Mallor did what Rivers predicted he would do, if he hadn't already. Rivers knew that it wouldn't take long for Mallor to catch on to Borrego, for him to lock Borrego out. All Rivers needed, was for Borrego to transmit the coordinates, then he could finish his job....*

"Hmmm... Maybe..." Thought I... There was a opening to the area filled with wires... "Maybe if I..." He gets to there and start working on something... At the end... He connected his padd to that link and acessed the main computer one more time... "Hoppefully, this will be enough to transmit those darn coordinates..." And he hits the Start button... The padd starts copping the data for the central computer and so on... "Thanks a lot, Mallor!"

do note that only you and terra will be able to do anything if this keeps up, if borrego can't do anything, neither can rivers, so it might as well just be you and terra playing, because in a sense, you're ubering if you absolutely everything blocked, eliminating the potential for anybody else to do anything. and borrego wasn't fighting, he was trying to send a transmission

Several digits came up, not all of them unfortunately. Then the signal cut out. Rivers stared intently at the few numbers he had received. They looked familiar, very familiar. A one here perhaps, a seven there, yes, that was it, that was it.*

Kaliandra: We could send a hailing frequency but then again we could send a squad to go in stealthy and grab him and drag him here.
Aeris: Those both could work, but let's go with less violence first.
Kaliandra: Okay. If we do have to attempt a forceful rescue, I would like to head the squad.
Aeris: Okay. Now, about Terra.
Kaliandra: It just started to show up. She's been off and on sick.
Aeris: I was afraid of this. Let's keep her in the med bay and keep giving her the personal medication she has been taking.
Kaliandra: I hope we did the right thing.
Aeris: I do too.. I do too...

It was very strange. His whole life before had been training, and when the rebellion was full blown, and he was sent in... he didn't want to think about it. If it hadn't been for one person, he would have succeeded, their whole race would have been decimated all by his hand, but he'd had an enemy, someone on the other end of it all, somebody working for the rebellion, against Rivers, both of them in the name of freedom... that name of freedom, Rivers on one side..... (OK, here;s where I make a character change, sorry, please don't hurt me, but this has been my intention for a very long time, and i think this person had hints or ideas, but here it goes)...the name of freedom....Mallor.*
