BM 2 Development Log
to do list:
- glitches - most important, and most difficult
- green and blue nebulae - 90% finished, should not be much of a pain in the bum
- player command screen - pain in the bum
- starship constructor - too complex, best deleted to make the game less heavyweight for the loading.
- access sonaran nebula - problem was distance indeed
- magic ship box and torpedo/phaser spread box - DONE
- planet strengths in comparison to bombarding power

- edited some controls, weapons can now also be fired by number keys 1-3. will edit more.
- ships now enter systems at half the speed, no more overshooting a planet by miles because you're going to fast!

- found out that vex makes mistakes... before, when you ordered your fleet to go to the planet, it said it would S@D. not anymore.
- edited controls. fleet control keys 1-8 are now F1 - F8.
- edited controls. ships now turn a bit slower, rendering them more controllable.
EDIT: darn. just found out that at warp, the sovereign class does not steer any more. fix on it's way!

really, i hate spelling mistakes. 'trunspeed instead of turnspeed'

BUT...
somehow, flash didn't save that .fla completely. some things were saved good, others were screwed up.

basically, all weapons work and are visible, but they don't have any HUD and buypanel sprites yet

- ship cheat bug fixed! oh goodies, finally!
- sonata and iritium accesable. vex put them too far away from other planets.
- game now pauses and blocks the keyboard controls, preventing you from accidentally bombarding a planet or getting killed

i kept the most boring and simple skin to prevent looks compromising performance at 58 tabs open at max res.
the advantage of Firefox is skinning, i'm sure your nice pretty and slow IE8 can't do that! :p
