Was good year for writing my own music. But there weren't any memorable songs from this year. Most songs on the radio or "popular" music promotes bad living habits. BORING.

Oh yes Shine, great song. I actually have the album for their Home concert and Shine is the last piece they play, very cool, the concert was one done with an orchestra so it sounds very cool IMO

Not necessarily, emo music is just self destructive music which is just anti-love music, therefore essentially categorized as the same thing. Why not sing about, I dunno, a trip you took, or an interesting object you saw one day? Like why love?

Definitely. The latter is far more transient unless it's truly exceptional. Though a few examples really stand out in support of the opposite, like Michael Jackson. He's the big one.
